(NASDAQ: ACFN), announced it is returning to the IMDEX Asia 2009exhibition being held in Singapore, may 12-14. IMDEX Asia, the only dedicated international maritime defence show serving the Asia-Pacific region. This biennial defence exhibition offers a one-stop opportunity to keep abreast of the latest maritime defence technologies, platform designs and technology developments.
DSIT will be exhibiting its AquaShield™ Diver Detection Sonar system at the event. The system guards and protects the customer's infrastructure from underwater intrusion and sabotage. The system can conprise of multiple AquaShield™ Diver Detection sonar (DDS) units, which can be combined and integrated into a comprehensive surveillance system.
The AquaShield™ DDS is in the water and operational at sites where harsh weather and rough sea conditions are present. The system has proved extremely reliable, operating around the clock. AquaShield™ is now a mature product ready to be installed anywhere in the world. This is yet another example of DSIT's transformation of its sonar solutions to advanced operational products.
